Two flashy blue eyes, great conformation and attitude to burn this is a really nice eyecatching colt. Ziggys dam is an unregistered chestnut roan paint mare that was purhased off a station after she injured herself, this is her first foal for us and we are very happy with the result. A nice colt that may be eligible for registration as a gelding with the paint horse asociation gelding amnesty. Suit cutting, drafting, team penning or rodeo events.

SOLD Well what can we say about this bloke. This gelding has been my daughters horse from the time he was broken in. She has competed him in team penning,achieved High Point Hack and High Point Sporting Horse at our local sporting club with him. You name it, this gelding does it, he is soft and responsive, would also train on to make a great reiner,done miles and miles of trail riding and stockwork and just about everything a kid can throw at a horse this bloke has seen and done. Badger is the horse that my daughter puts her unhorsey friends on when they come to stay and he takes it all in his stride. Geldings of this calibre don't often come up for sale but with young horses coming up all the time sometimes you have to let some of the good ones go.Approved home only.

PLEASE NOTE this gelding cut his foot/hoof approximately 18 months ago and has a scarred/misshapen hoof. It will keep on improving with time and good care and to the best of our knowledge he is completely sound and has since competed at team penning with no problems. If you have a problem with scars please do not enquire about this horse.

A very hard decision to offer up this gelding for sale. Out of the great old mare 'Broomfield King Marmalade' who was the last left producing direct daughter of the legend himself 'Hill King Pistol imp'. Broomfield King Marmalade is also the dam of Peptos Blue Boon (by Peptos Stylish Oak imp) and probably what we would consider to be the best stallion we have ever had the priviledge to stand at stud. This gelding is in turn by the only coloured paint stallion in the country by Miel Little Pep imp/dec. Here is a coloured gelding who carries the blood of Peppy San Badger,Smart Little Lena,Hill King Pistol imp and Dell Mingo imp all up close in his pedigree. Loud coloured, well bred, well conformed and super quiet sums up this awesome gelding. A full brother to my daughters gelding Ky-ean Badger Boon whom she has shown very successfully at Team Penning, Sporting and Hacking. This gelding is very similar to his older brother and would especially suit reining, drafting or rodeo events. He is also a full brother to to Ky-ean Hillbilly Boon, Ky-ean Billy Bob Boon, Ky-ean Country Music and Ky-ean Bootylicious Boon (retained). This is a line that will not dissappoint, they are cool headed yet quick and agile. This gelding will be started under saddle within the next month.

Not many paints around with the quality or depth of breeding that this filly carries,her dam is one of only a few paint mares by the import 'Sonitas Rondo' and out of an own daughter of C Notes Loverboy imp,couple this with her sires lines of Peptos Stylish Oak imp,Hill King Pistol imp and Dell Mingo imp and you know you have a good one. This filly is easily handled by my daughters,is soft and willing and ready for a big future. 'Jazz' has now had 30 days under saddle with the breaker, she is ready for further education by an experienced rider as she is forward moving and super athetic, the breaker has said that "she is the smoothest moving horse I have ever ridden". SOLD We have owned 'Honky' for many years now and she has never let us down as far as producing quality of both conformation and temperament. She is the dam of Ky-ean A Touch Of Mischief, Ky-ean Badger Boon, Ky-ean Hillbilly Boon, Ky-ean Billy Bob Boon, Ky-ean Country Music, Ky-ean Bodacious Boon and Ky-ean Bootylicious Boon. My daughter has shown Ky-ean Badger Boon to High Point Sporting and Hacking titles as well as Team Penning wins and we are retaining her last filly to go into our own broodmare band in the future. SOLD Nice chestnut roan overo broodmare, unregistered. Bones as we call her was purchased off a sttion after she injured herself. Her injury means that sh is permanently lame in her hind leg, this in o way affects her ability to get around, conceive or rear a foal. Last year she produced an outstanding bay overo colt by our QH stallion Peptos Blue Boon, see Ziggy above. Bones is a very sweet natured mare, likes attention and has proven to be a great producer as well as a great mother, she reared the biggest and fattest foal last season hands down. Bones has had a tough life up until we bought her so she needs to go to a great home. She is currently empty, ready to breed to the stallion of your choice.

TERM PAYMENT PLAN GUIDELINES

Term payment plans are available on all of the horses that we offer for sale. We have been offering term payment plans for almost 19 years now and have offered them as long as we have been in operation. Following are some basic guidelines to how they operate, for more detailed information please contact us directly.

We have personally written and developed these guidelines over the last 19 years, if you are considering offering Term Payment Plans yourself please do not copy and paste this page to your own website as you will be infringing on copyright laws. 

BASIC GUIDELINES

Our 'Term Payment Plans' are subject to an agreement which incorporates the following basic points:-

• A non refundable deposit of 20% of the horses purchase price is payable upon agreement of sale. A smaller deposit may be acceptable in special cases, please contact us to discuss options. The horse remains on the open market until we receive this part-payment.
• The horse in question stays in the possession of Ky-ean Stud until full payment has been received, no exceptions. Full payment includes the purchase price plus gst, agistment, drenching, farrier, vet fees and any applicable gst charges.
• Payment periods range from 4-16 weeks depending on the purchase price of the horse, our basic payment term period is 3 months. These payment periods can be extended, conditions apply. The payment period varies depending on the purchase price of each horse. The payment period can be extended but once the basic payment period has elapsed the purchaser will be responsible for the feeding and upkeep costs associated with such horse.
• A minimum monthly payment amount is calculated.
• Should the purchaser default on the sale in any way no money is refundable in any way, by placing a deposit on a horse you are expressly agreeing to this. If a buyer does default on the sale of a horse, we may at our discretion offer a horse credit to the purchaser, this credit is to be used on a horse of equal or more value then the amount already paid and must be used within 12 months of defaulting on such sale. If a horse is purchased of lesser value using a credit then the balance of the credit is non-refundable, all other costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. This credit is completely at our discretion and may or may not be granted to individual buyers.
• No interest charges apply during the payment period until the agreed 'payment due date' has elapsed, however the purchaser is responsible for the cost of drenching, dentistry, veterinary and farriery fees if applicable during this payment period.
• We strongly recommend that purchasers discuss with us insurance for the horse in question during the payment period and transport of such horse to its destination. We can arrange this on their behalf.
• A full breakdown of payments is available by contacting us.
• Horses purchased using our payment plans my be at a higher purchase price due to the increased costs for us to maintain such horse during the payment period.

INSURANCE FOR HORSES. We strongly recommend to all purchasers that they take out insurance for any horse during the term payment period and/or transport to their destination. We are able to organise insurance on behalf of purchasers.

HOLDING DEPOSITS are available and calculated on 10% of the particular horses purchase price and are non-refundable. A holding deposit will hold a horse from being sold for a 2 week period. If you place a holding deposit and then go through with the purchase the amount of the holding deposit will be deducted off the horses purchase price. Term payment plans are still available in conjunction with a holding deposit being placed.

TERM PAYMENT PLANS are available on all of the horses that we offer for sale. These payment plans are based on a 20% deposit on agreement of sale and an approximate 3 month payment period. The payment period can be extended, conditions apply. The purchaser is not charged any interest during the payment period but is responsible for any drenching, farriery and/or vet fees during such time.
